Signature of Divine

It’s that time of year again. That time when it is coming to an end. It’s crazy to think that this year is already over. I took this picture at last year’s party when my sister was falling asleep only at around 10. It seems like if that was just a short time ago, but yes it’s been an entire year. 365 days, no less than that. It feels like it was just yesterday that I got used to writing “07″ on my papers in school, and now I have to get used to “08″. Did the year go by quickly for you, too? What is one of the best things that happened this year? I think mine was being able to reconnect with tons of old friends I hadn’t seen in two years, and meeting/talking to even more NEW friends that I appreciate greatly. YES even the people that I have been able to talk to because of this blog. I started this blog during another holiday [July 4th] merely out of spontaneity and I was sure I’d get over it in a couple weeks, and people wouldn’t read it. Well over 4,600 hits and almost 500 comments later, I’m still here and I couldn’t be happier with what ended up happening. I’ve been able to “meet” some new, good friends, and even if they don’t feel the same, I am so happy that it happened. So yes, tell me about some great things that happened to you this year. And if you want to, tell me your plans for tonight! I bet there will be many wild parties, am I right? ;]

YOU SHOULD WATCH THE RHETT AND LINK SHOW [the guys who did the Facebook song] Fridays at noon EST [11 central] , next week only, and then on Thursdays at 9 pm EST [8 pm central] . I did so today, and it’s awesome because you are talking to them by chatroom as they are doing the show and they read as they’re on the air. They are Christian guys [they were at a Campus Crusade conference today] so the show is not inappropriate at all. But you have to be a chat room expert because it gets CRAZY.  Even worse than the DC*B chatroom used to be [yeah, shocker]. But sorry, Aly, you can’t get banned on that one :[

Yeah, because of midterms I had to move up my appointment to remove my braces up to the 22nd of January. And I’m sad :[

Ha watch the video. I mean the song is pretty silly and I don’t really like it when it comes to the music or anything, but the message is good and the speaker that talks throughout the video is pretty funny.

It’s over.
It’s done.
No more school for two freaking weeks.
I’ve been waiting for this moment for about a month or so now.
The weight has been lifted, my heart has been made light.
I can now breathe easier, mostly because my sinuses cleared up.

“Oh, that makes me so mad. And so sad. I’m smad.”

Well I’m sort of feeling like that. Except I’m mad, yet I’m happy.
I’m happy because:
- It was 53 degrees this morning [considered 'cold' here in Miami]
- I get out of school for winter break on Friday
- Christmas is in 8 days!
- I’m getting my guitar. Yippee.

I’m mad because:
- I have a major project due on Thursday for English
- My English teacher gave us two hard assignments due this week, knowing we have to deal with her freaking project.
- I have 59684 other homework assignments to do this week.
- I have a 15-page research paper on the Renaissance due right after break for history.
- EDIT: I feel really sick.

So today, I was talking to my mother. I casually talked to my mom about some really cute This Holiday Life t-shirts that I saw online yesterday. This is how it went:

“Yesterday I was on the Internet and there were these super cute t-shirts of This Holiday Life and they were only like 10 bucks.”

“What’s This Holiday Life?”

“Only the greatest band in the world!”

“Oh okay. So you want it?”

“Well it could be a Christmas present. And it’s on PayPal so your information is secure.”

“Are you sure you want it?”

“Sure.”

“Okay, order it.”

:D

I can’t wait.
