Shaun is my best friend in the woooorld.

Yes, today is an important day. Shaun Groves himself linked to me on his latest blog, and I’m jazzed. Rhett and Link change lives, my friends.

Maybe I’ll actually have more than 3 readers because of this (:

Babies are God’s gifts to the world.

Rani! It’s finally happening! Remember Nic and Laura from last week? Well Laura has been pregnant for almost 9 months now [DUH], and she is currently in labor! At least I think she’s still in labor, no one from church has been calling about the birth, yet. Haha. It’s so crazy to think that it was that long ago that Nic got up and told the church that one of the women in church was pregnant so very casually like if he hardly knew her [it was his wife, so I thought it was pretty funny]. Of COURSE I know it was Laura because I’m so smart like that, and I was instantly waiting for the day that the baby would finally come. She already has stories to tell when she grows up, like how we call her Gertrude. This is because I made a comment about Gertrude being an ugly name [sorry for any Gertrudes reading this], and Laura jokingly said, “Aw man I was gonna name the baby Gertrude.” So I started calling the baby Gertrude or Gerty, mostly because Nic and Laura wouldn’t tell me the name they’re gonna use [I still don't know, but hey Laura's in labor, I'll know soon enough. Haha] and other people started with that, too. Poor Gerty, I mean whatever her name is (:
Can’t wait to see God’s new little creation, and of course, start babysitting to get some extra cash ;]

UPDATE!

Laura gave birth yesterday at 11:15 pm to Rani Elizabeth (:
Ah I’m gonna go visit her today. She is adorable. Praise God for these little miracles!

Rani, again!

Before you watch, know this: I love homeschoolers. So if you are/were a homeschooler, know that I still think you’re cool.

Posting for the sake of posting.

Yeah my life has not interesting enough lately to be posting too much, but I feel like my readers [all 3 of them]  may be getting bored. So I’ll just tell you about my night yesterday, since I did some pretty cool stuff. I went to my youth leaders’ [Nic and Laura] house last night with a couple of my friends [the girls at the house with Laura, the guys at the church with Nic]. So without the boys to hold us back we had the ultimate girls’ night, complete with cookies [eh, no cinnamon rolls], chips, Gatorade, and a nice movie. The purpose was to meet and hang out with a girl from Moody Bible Institute who is staying in Miami for a semester as part of an internship or something. So we talked for a while about random stuff, stuffed our faces, and then went to watch the movie. That movie was The Ultimate Gift. Now I thought it was going to be an okay movie, but not amazing or anything. I was wrong. The whole situation was pretty unrealistic, sure, but I thought that overall it was great. It was funny, it was sad, it was cute, it was even pretty intense at one point. You may have seen it and may not have liked it, but I did, so I was happy we watched it. So yeah this one of those pointless blogs again but these always seem to get the comments. Haha.

Rhett&Link Video of the Week #2.

I feel weird putting this up after writing such a heartfelt post just yesterday, but I promised to do this. Haha.

Ahhh no fun and games right now.

I know that I normally provide you with some entertainment in form of a funny video, or witty banter that you make fun of me with, but this post is different. I really need your prayers. I’m in one of those situations where problems are just attacking me from different angles and those things stay my mind all day and night. One of the many problems I have is that I go into things always expecting the worst. I don’t mean to do it but I think of every imaginable thing that could go wrong. I know God is always in control, and I remember that every day. I don’t worry about him ever not being in control and him not answering my prayers. But I know so little about what God wants for me, and I can only see what’s on the surface. I then think of all the other things God may do that, at the time, I really don’t want to happen. I know whatever he chooses is best, but it’s just so hard for me to see the good in some situations.
Ok so the first thing that you can pray for me is that I can find a way of getting $750 dollars by the end of June this year. As you’ve heard before, I really want to go to the Challenge Conference, which is in Utah this summer. I, living in Florida, am very far away from Utah, so my youth group is planning is to fly there, instead of driving. I have 300 dollars already but the problem is that I’m only a high school freshman, meaning I can’t get a real job. The only ‘work’ I can do is yard/housework for some people I know. It pays 30 bucks to rake, sweep outside and inside, vacuum, dust, and do whatever random yardwork they need don at the time. It’s an all day job that is extremely tiring for me, so I can’t be doing it every week, or much at all. I’ll probably get money for my birthday in May but my friends don’t love me THAT much. Haha. So yeah just pray that God will provide for me, if that is His will, so that I can go to Utah in order to serve others and just grow spiritually, just like I did two years ago at the same conference. The second prayer request is a very personal prayer that I can’t really share on a public blog, so just pray for ‘my situation’ and your support will be enough. This situation can be life-changing in a good or not so good way, so if you only have time to pray for me for one thing, this is it. I also pray for less worrying things such as school and stuff, but asking you to pray for those two main things is more than enough. I am in NO way playing the ‘feel sorry for me’ game and feel free to not pray for me. But if you do, you have no idea how much I appreciate it (:

Remember, if you have a prayer request I am more than happy to pray for you!

Ladies and Gentleman: Phil is indeed alive.

After 2 months and 4 days, Phil has finally posted a NEW blog. You know, as a huge fan [fine, obsessive] I never gave up on Phil so I always checked on his blog to see if by a miracle and/or freak accident he decided to post something. Well today, I went and I expected to see what I’ve been seeing for the past two months: “MOB Contest and a little update.” But no, I did not see that but a brand new post title and no comments. So yeah for those people who have been a bit frustrated with Phil for not posting, today is the end of that era. Of course, his next post may come in another 2 or 3 months, but let’s enjoy today’s post shall we?

P.S. I almost have 5,000 blog hits! I have no idea why anyone would want to read all this useless junk, but hey it’s probably fun to read my pointless blogs and laugh at me (:

This is what Phil’s been doing for 2 months.

And at Aly’s request…[this video is much older :]
