Babies are God’s gifts to the world.

Rani! It’s finally happening! Remember Nic and Laura from last week? Well Laura has been pregnant for almost 9 months now [DUH], and she is currently in labor! At least I think she’s still in labor, no one from church has been calling about the birth, yet. Haha. It’s so crazy to think that it was that long ago that Nic got up and told the church that one of the women in church was pregnant so very casually like if he hardly knew her [it was his wife, so I thought it was pretty funny]. Of COURSE I know it was Laura because I’m so smart like that, and I was instantly waiting for the day that the baby would finally come. She already has stories to tell when she grows up, like how we call her Gertrude. This is because I made a comment about Gertrude being an ugly name [sorry for any Gertrudes reading this], and Laura jokingly said, “Aw man I was gonna name the baby Gertrude.” So I started calling the baby Gertrude or Gerty, mostly because Nic and Laura wouldn’t tell me the name they’re gonna use [I still don't know, but hey Laura's in labor, I'll know soon enough. Haha] and other people started with that, too. Poor Gerty, I mean whatever her name is (:
Can’t wait to see God’s new little creation, and of course, start babysitting to get some extra cash ;]

UPDATE!

Laura gave birth yesterday at 11:15 pm to Rani Elizabeth (:
Ah I’m gonna go visit her today. She is adorable. Praise God for these little miracles!

Rani, again!

That is just wonderful! I love babies! My nephew is over here right now, and he’s just a little bundle of joy! He’s really big though… he’s 8 months old and he’s already wearing 24 month clothes! I’ve been blessed with so many cute nephews ^_^ and a couple cute nieces. Plus, I’ve got another niece and another baby (not sure of the gender yet) on the way. :-) I think I’ll be able to live off my sibilings kids without having one of my own for a while. Being an Aunt is a bit like being a grandparent. You can spoil them and play with them a bunch, and when they get fussy, just give them back to their parents.

Well, I hope you have a wonderful time with the baby! Be sure to congratulate them from all of us in the blogsphere!

Dude, but my only sister is 8 years younger than me, so I’ll be in charge of having the kids first. Haha.
